I recently decided to redesign my entire web site. I still haven't made up my mind if I'm going to use a CMS (Content Management System) or not. What I have been working on is the new look. I'm creating a whole new set of images in Vue 6 Infinite. I've been so disappointed in my last design of my web site that I avoid it. It lacks the creativity I so enjoy. My new design is going to actually be a grove of trees. My design will match my domain for the first time in years. I'm hoping to make it a bit whimsical and mystical as that is the type of art that I enjoy the most.
I'm also thinking of using Spritely to help make the appearance a little more fun! I wouldn't animate a lot, but I'm thinking a layer of mist/fog and a layer with a few glowing lights might be nice. Some of the examples in their Gallery show that you can clearly use it in the background and have the page content on top of it.
