The 3 "S" for finding the void! As we sprang forth from the void and enter the void on our leaving our earthly self, we can capture its existence in the present. We may the find in void in everything, the pause in our speaking, or that space between the notes as we listen to music. If not for this space or pause music would be just a one long sound of tones running together. Without pauses in speech, there would be no emphasis or expression, it would become mundane and boring. Solitude: For me it is a place such as Our Haven, there only nature to surround and cradle me. No man made noise! No trucks, no saws, no machinery droning in the back ground. Just the bubbling of the creek, the birds, butterflies, dragonflies chirping and buzzing around. The rustle of leaves as the wind caresses them. The nearest person is in hollering distance and it has to be a good strong howler to be heard by them. This is my solitude, where I can let go of all my tribal conditioning and find my inner peace in the void. Stillness: Nope, not just sitting still, but the stillness of the mind! No thoughts, no processing of agendas, no past history, no planning the future. Just stillness! In this the void unfolds before me! Silence: For me it is not speaking, not having any noise but that which nature plays in its symphony. In this silence I find the a flow of energy that is in the land and in the void. Letting go of control, letting go of the planning and flowing with the harmony of the Mother. In the void I am with the Goddess and her consort, I am with the Mother and the Father! I am no longer captured in labels of society or self. I am alone, cradled in the void, there is only love and peace, yet at the same time I am part of the All and everything it is and is not. It is natural place where I can heal my body, my mind and spirit, in this place I blessed with gifts too numerous to count.From this experience with the void I can grow, create and attune my awareness. In Tantra we are taught to be consciously aware, to weave that consciousness into our everyday life and existence With the 3 "S" and experiencing the void my consciousness becomes keenly aware. I send gratitude to the Goddess and God, I send love to the Mother earth and Father sky and Blessings to the Elders of Our Haven. |
